On March 5, 2013 at Botto’s Italian Line Restaurant at 7:00pm, the Swedesboro area residents and business owners are invited to an open public meeting to discuss revitalization efforts for the Center Business District (CBD). In conjunction with the Swedesboro Economic Development Committee, the public meeting will be lead by Strategic Advisory Group (SAG). SAG was recently engaged to provide research, analytical assessments, and strategic planning services to the Borough of Swedesboro through a grant from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.

Swedesboro’s CBD has experienced considerable improvement in the past few years via the collective efforts of its volunteer economic development staff. However, that staff and other civic leaders desire to understand the opportunities that could exist for further enhancing the CBD and the overall destination appeal of Swedesboro. Therefore, SAG was invited to assist Swedesboro and its partners in assessing and outlining a plan to achieve these goals.

To that end, SAG will host an open, workshop-style session to be held in Swedesboro to both disseminate the purpose, process, and timeline of the study as well as to encourage and gather direct input from the community.

Botto’s Italian Line Restaurant is located at 1411 Kings Hwy, Swedesboro. Complimentary refreshments will be served to those attending.
