Crime Log – June

A 38 year old Philadelphia man was arrested for theft of services after not paying for work completed by Convery and Son’s Auto Body.

A 20 year old Swedesboro man was arrested for providing false statements to police during an ongoing investigation.

A Woolwich resident reported that someone made fraudulent purchases with their credit card information at an electronics store totaling approximately $8900.

A 23 year old Woodstown man and a 22 year old Woolwich woman were arrested for the possession of marijuana subsequent to a narcotics investigation on Oaks Drive.

A 49 year old Logan Township woman and her 21 year old son were arrested for credit card fraud and theft subsequent to credit card fraud investigation conducted in cooperation with the Logan Township Police Department.

Unknown subject(s) stole rollers and a ramp from the kayak dock located at Lake Park.

A Woolwich Township business fell victim to a phone scam. Someone advising they were representing South Jersey Gas advised their services would be suspended unless a $1000 payment was provided via “Money Pak”. *South Jersey Gas does not contact their customers via telephone to collect payments*

Nicolosi Farms reported that someone stole batteries from their irrigation pumps.

A 20 year old Swedesboro man was arrested for receiving stolen property subsequent to a burglary investigation.

A Duxbury Court resident observed two white males entering unlocked vehicles. They fled the scene prior to police arrival. *Do not allow yourself to become victimized, lock your car doors at all times*

A Paulsboro resident reported that someone stole their 53′ enclosed trailer from Dartmouth Drive.

A 34 year old Logan Township woman was charged with shoplifting items from the CVS located on US Route 322.

An 18 year old Woolwich man, a 19 year old Woolwich man, and a 20 year old Logan man, were charged with burglary and theft subsequent to a burglary investigation on Hunters Run.

The Governor Charles Stratton School reported the theft of an iPad and iPad mini.

Michael S. Adams of Logan Township was arrested for burglary, theft, and possession of heroin, subsequent to a burglary investigation on Ashburn Way.

A Lexington Mews resident reported that someone smashed out the driver’s side window of their vehicle, and attempted to pry open the door.

A 19 year old Swedesboro man was arrested for aggravated assault subsequent to an altercations between the subject and another man.

Fresh Faced: Swedesboro True Value Gets a New Look and a New Owner

The Swedesboro True Value hardware store has undergone a makeover in recent weeks, getting not only a fresh new look and revamped interior but new ownership as well. Frank Bridges, longtime employee of the store, is now the proud new owner of Swedesboro True Value. Woolwich PD hosted Community Night Out

Woolwich Township Police Department hosted a First Responder Community Night out on Wednesday June 18, 2014 from 6-9pm at Locke Avenue Park.

There were various activities and demonstrations as well as a free hot dog and juice to the first 200 kids in attendance.
