Draining the Water Tower

Attention

Borough of Swedesboro Residents

This Thursday, April 6th, you could experience low water pressure at times due to the fact we will be draining the water tower. There are pressure release valves on fire hydrants in key locations through out the Borough. These valves are in place to maintain the consistent pressure to the water lines. You will see water coming out of them, do not be alarmed!

Also:

Fire Hydrant Flushing Will be:

April 24, 2017 to April 28, 2017

8:00am to 2:00pm

They will be flushing the drinking water system during the above dates and times. During this process, discolored water is possible. PLEASE check water BEFORE use. If discolored, water will run clear. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
