The 2019 swearing in of re-elected members of council, Salvatore ‘Sam’ Casella and Mary ‘Alice’ O’blennis, took place on the morning of January 1st 2019.

Deputy Speaker of the NJ Assembly, John Burzichelli, was in attendance to swear in Councilwoman O’Blennis.  Council President Casella was sworn in by Mayor Tom Fromm.

Following the swearing in, Council President Casella, Councilwoman O’Blennis and Mayor Fromm all made remarks about how important it has been that Swedesboro is served by a council that is committed to working together as a team.

Casella and O’Blennis started another 3 year term which will end in 2021.
