BOROUGH COUNCIL MEETING

August 2, 2021

In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, P.L. 1975 c 231, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et. seq., this is to advise that the Borough Council of the Borough of Swedesboro, Gloucester County, New Jersey, will hold a public meeting on Monday August 2, 2021 at 7:00PM by way of electronic communication/live streaming pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(b) and consistent with Executive Order 103 signed by Governor Murphy on March 9, 2020 in an abundance of caution and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Meeting will be open for public comment end of the meeting when directed. The Borough Council Meeting will be broadcast live via Microsoft Teams, you may access the meeting via the link below.

Swedesboro Brewing Co-Past Meets Present

Swedesboro Brewery is quickly becoming  a local watering hole for residents and visitors.

“The stories of Swedesboro lore are woven throughout the brewery’s lineup.

“When I found out about this town, I was kind of mesmerized,” Bowe, 46, said. “A few trips to the library and historical foundation, and you get all the information you need.

“We could have named the brewery anything we wanted — my background is branding, so we could have found something cool,” he said. “But the way in which the town was looking for something, I said, ‘Why don’t we be a staple in the history of the town?’ So we named the brewery, intentionally, Swedesboro.”
