BOROUGH OF SWEDESBORO

BOROUGH COUNCIL MEETING

February 22, 2022

In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, P.L. 1975 c 231, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et. seq., this is to advise that the Borough Council of the Borough of Swedesboro, Gloucester County, New Jersey, will hold a public meeting on Tuesday February 22, 2022 at 7:00PM by way of electronic communication/live streaming pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(b) and consistent with Executive Order 103 signed by Governor Murphy on March 9, 2020 in an abundance of caution and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Meeting will be open for public comment end of the meeting when directed. The Borough Council Meeting will be broadcast live via Microsoft Teams, you may access the meeting via the link below.

Residents can view the meeting as detailed above. Borough Council will hold this meeting via online meeting forum and will not be in-person. This meeting will be closed to any in-person attendance except for essential individuals for broadcasting

2022 Free Paper Shredding Events

Swedesboro/Woolwich residents will have multiple opportunities in the coming months to protect their identity and improve the environment by bringing unwanted documents to be shredded.  Head to DocuVault Delaware Valley’s website for more information about what items are accepted for destruction.

Township of Woolwich and the Borough of Swedesboro present the following shredding dates in 2021. Residents may bring their old files and the like to any of the scheduled dates.  This event is held in cooperation with the Board of County Commussioners, Frank J. DiMarco, Director of the Board of Commissioners

April 23 – 9am – Noon at Swedesboro – Empty Lot Next to Cheega Funeral Home 

June 4th – 9am-noon at Woolwich – Woolwich Twp Municipal Building

September 10th – 9am-Noon at Woolwich – Woolwich Twp Municipal Building

November 5th 9am-Noon at Swedesboro – Empty Lot Next to Cheega Funeral Home

*Open to only Woolwich and Swedesboro residents*

Please note that each event is scheduled for 3 hours or until truck is full.
