Swedesboro – Swedesboro’s much anticipated restaurant opening is finally here with the ribbon cutting at Restaurante Colosio in downtown Kings Highway Thursday, December 18, 2014.

Owners Octavio and Suplicia Velasquez with their children Sheyli, Yohana, Jonathan and Richy; Chef Pedro Osorio, Carlos, Bonnie, Anna and Mercedes Berrios; Mayor Fromm, Members of Swedesboro Council (Diane Hale, David Flaherty, Joanna Gahrs and Sam Casella and Patrick Wilbraham [not pictured]) were all on hand for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Swedesboro’s newest restaurant

The event featured a sampling of Chef Osorio’s menu which boasts a wide variety of authentic mexican dishes at reasonable prices.

Restaurante Colosio will also offer Mexican desserts and breakfast items as well as a variety daily specials that aren’t on the menu.

The grand opening news buzzed quickly around social media and many have already stopped by for dinner and followed up by posting very positive reviews of their experience online.

Restaurante Colosio is located at 1410 Kings Highway in Downtown Swedesboro.  Hours will be 7am – 9pm.
