Please be aware that our Water Treatment Plant experienced an upset early this morning due to a suspected lightning strike.  As a result, there were areas around town that experienced low water pressure.  The situation has been resolved and the system is being operated in manual mode as Public Works trouble shoots the issue.

The issue from this morning has been rectified and was due to the severe weather and lightning that occurred within the past 24 hours.

At no time was the treatment of our drinking water affected because the water in the tank is already treated so our water supply was safe throughout this incident.
