RESIDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTING AND BAGGING LEAVES ON THEIR PROPERTY INCLUDING THE STREET.
YARD WASTE AND LEAVES MAY BE DISPOSED OF IN THE GREEN YARD WASTE CART PROVIDED BY THE BOROUGH NOT WEIGHING MORE THAN 50 POUNDS OR IN LARGE BROWN PAPER LEAF BAGS (BAGS-OCTOBER, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER ONLY).
YARD WASTE PICK UP IN JANUARY IS THE 2ND AND 3rd THURSDAY, FEBRUARY THE FIRST THURSDAY, EVERY THURSDAY MARCH THROUGH NOVEMBER, AND THE 1ST AND 2ND THURSDAY IN DECEMBER. PLEASE CHECK THE BOROUGH WEBSITE FOR ANY CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULE.

Trash Collection
- Garbage must be placed in the BROWN trash cart.
- Carts must be placed facing forward, wheels touching the curb.
- Carts may be placed curbside NO earlier than 5pm Wednesday evening
- Only household trash may be placed in the brown trash cart. ALL recyclables should be placed in the BLUE container
- Emptied containers must be removed from the street within 12 hours of collection.
- The BROWN can is for household refuse only. It is not for recyclables, wood, grass clippings or other vegetative waste or e-waste.
Single Stream Recycling Collection
- Use Blue Recycle carts for ALL recyclable material
- Recycle cart may be placed curbside NO earlier than 5pm Wednesday evening
- Emptied recycle carts must be removed from the street within 12 hours of collection.
- Co-mingled newspaper, cardboard, junk mail, office paper, magazines and books
- Co-mingled plastic and glass bottles, jars and jugs, aluminum and steel beverage and food containers
- Check the can lid for additional information
- The BLUE cart is NOT for wood, grass clippings or other vegetative waste, household refuse or e-waste.
Vegetative Waste Collection
- Yard Clippings, grass and other vegetative waste will be collected if placed in a brown paper lawn bag OR traditional trash can.
- Vegetative waste WILL NOT be collected in plastic bags.
- Green yard waste cart may be placed curbside NO earlier than 5pm Wednesday evening
- Emptied cart must be removed from the street within 12 hours of collection.
e-Waste Collection
- Call Borough Hall to schedule pickup before 12:00pm the Wednesday before e-Waste pickup to schedule pickup of ALL e-waste items – 856-467-0202
- Items may be placed curbside NO earlier than 5pm on the THURSDAY evening before metal collection
- All electronic equipment – computers, laptops, monitors, flat screens, TVs, fax machines, copiers, radios, stereos, boom boxes, audio visual equipment, tape recorders, phones, pagers and the like
- Electronic and/or computer components – hard drives, mother boards, keyboards, mice, cables, boards and the like
- It is ILLEGAL to place these devices in the regular trash or recycle
Metal Collection
- Call Borough Hall before 12:00pm the Wednesday before Metal pickup to schedule pickup of metal items and appliances – 856-467-0202
- Items may be placed curbside NO earlier than 5pm on the THURSDAY evening before metal collection
- Metal items accepted: appliances, desks, metal doors (remove glass), siding, chairs, bikes, lawn mowers, garden equipment, car parts, pots and pans, etc.
Bulk Household Collection
- Call Borough Hall before 12:00pm the Wednesday before bulk pickup at (856)467-0202. Items called in after this time will be placed on the next month’s bulk pickup list. Items may be placed curbside NO earlier than 5pm on the Thursday before bulk household collection.
- Bulk household items include doors, furniture, box springs, mattresses and carpet
- Carpet must be cut into 4 foot lengths and bundled with string or twine. Bundles may not exceed 50lbs.
- Construction/Remodeling debris WILL NOT be accepted (This includes plywood, sheetrock, insulation, flooring, fixtures, siding, shingles, toilets, cabinets, fencing, etc.)
