Billing Schedule
Water & Sewer bills have been combined and are now due on a quarterly basis, on the following dates:
January 1
April 1
July 1
October 1

Online Payments-Convenience charges are being assessed from the company processing the electronic payments; the Borough of Swedesboro does not receive any of these fees.The convenience fees are as follows:
2.95% of your bill will be added to all credit/debit card payments.
$1.95 will be added to all ACH/E-Check payments.

Odd/Even Water Restrictions in Effect (April through October)
Borough Ordinance 114-40 requires ALL residents and business to conserve water by restricting outside watering between April and October using an odd/even schedule. Outside water usage, which includes the watering of lawns, plants, filling of pools and washing of cars is restricted.

What is an odd/even schedule?  The odd/even schedule is based on the street address of your home and the calendar date.  If your street address is an EVEN number, you may water on EVEN calendar dates. If your address is an ODD number, you may water on ODD calendar dates.  For example, August 1 is ODD and August 2 is EVEN.

§ 114-40. Conservation of water supply. [Added 12-2-2002]
A. In order to conserve the water reserves of the Borough of Swedesboro, between the months of April and October outside water usage shall be on alternate days as designated by the house or box number of the person or business. Persons or businesses having off house or box numbers may use water for an outside purpose on an odd day of the week.
B. Outside water usage shall include the following: the watering of lawns and plants, the filling of pools and the washing of cars.
C. Any person or business violating this section of Chapter 11 shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $50.
