Swedesboro — Mayor Tom Fromm accepted the deed for more than three acres of open space land from County Freeholders Robert Damminger and Adam Taliaferro Wednesday May 15, 2013.

Please be advised that the Borough of Swedesboro recently purchased new recycling carts. These carts will be replacing your blue Recyclebank Carts.
Your carts will be emptied on Thursday, April 25, 2013 by the trash collectors in the normal process. Please leave your Blue Recycle carts out at the curb (regardless if they are full or not). Recyclebank will come along and collect the cans after they are emptied.

In November 2011, residents returned David Flaherty to council for a 3 year term. Residents also re-elected Mayor Thomas Fromm to another 4 year term and Councilwoman Joanna Gahrs to another 3 year term. All three will be sworn in again on January 1, 2012 at 11:00am at Borough Hall.
